Education industry case study
RMIT is a global university of technology, design and enterprise.
Requirement
RMIT required a system that could help drive their enterprise risk program throughout the university's educational colleges and administrative areas.
The tool needed to be simple to use at 'face value' yet also provide a wealth of powerful features and functions.
Locally based support was also an important consideration.
Solution
We quickly and easily configured the system to fit with RMIT's enterprise risk framework. Data was transferred into the system from spreadsheets with minimum fuss.
Along with RMIT key co-ordinators we ran group training sessions using PC facilities. The system was immediately accepted by the wider audience of users because of its friendly web based screens, simple navigation and rich set of features.
We customised the system to fit with the university's Novell eDirectory requirements and provided close-knit technical support alongside the IT team.
Benefit
RMIT now enjoys a centrally controlled risk information system which is far superior than the previous multi-spreadsheet system operated.
The Risk Wizard tool has acted as an effective lever in improving risk awareness. Enterprise risk themes can be quickly and easily identified and monitored.
The system has also represented 'good value for money' and has been easy to scale up from the base users purchased.
